The purpose of our theater is to bring harmony in all facets to those who visit or work at the theater. We strive to provide beautiful music and other high-quality theatrical experiences in an atmosphere where guests, performers, staff members, and the surrounding community feel welcomed, respected, and loved.
About
Located in quaint Hillsboro, Indiana, we’ve been offering theater enthusiasts, families, and bus groups quality entertainment and homemade meals for over a quarter of a century! Our season features Broadway musicals and plays, carefully selected to stay consistent with our Mission Statement, and what our patrons want to see. In addition to top-caliber entertainment, our guests enjoy delicious home-cooked food made with love and high-quality ingredients. Our menus are always tailored to the performance, providing guests with an experience that can’t be beat!
History
Myers Dinner Theatre was founded by Donna and Richard Myers. After several years of operating in nearby Waynetown, the couple moved the business to the historic Hillsboro storefront in 2002. The Myerses were well-known for their home-cooking and warm hospitality. In late 2023, the theater was purchased by Mark (a Hillsboro native) and Misty McGrady. The McGradys hope to start a new chapter for the theater and have provided many updates, including its new name: The Harmony Theater. “We strive to foster harmonious relationships throughout our community by supporting people and their artistic endeavors.”
